(Reading, PA) -- Hundreds of people lost power in Reading yesterday due to a snapped pole. WFMZ-TV reports the pole broke near North Sixth Street and Woodward in the afternoon. Met-Ed said the pole did not snap because of the weather, but due to equipment failure. The pole was temporarily repaired with plans to replace it later this week.
