(Lancaster, PA) -- A former Lancaster resident who was on Pennsylvania's Most Wanted Fugitives List is now behind bars. The Lancaster Bureau Police confirmed yesterday that Oneximo Mendez of Lancaster City was arrested in the Dominican Republic recently. He was wanted in Pennsylvania on charges including rape of a child and unlawful contact with a minor after he failed to appear in court in 2014. Officials say Mendez has been extradited back to Lancaster County, and he is currently being held in the Lancaster County Prison on two-million-dollar bail.
