(Undated) -- Scientists say there's a number of steps you should try and hit to reduce your risk of early death. The study published in the Jama Network Open says that number is seven-thousand. Researchers kept tabs on roughly 21-thousand people between 38- and 50-years-old for roughly 11-years. Their study found people who walked at least seven-thousand steps a day had a 50 to 70 percent lower risk of premature mortality from any cause.
