>>Researchers: Men Saw Largest Life Expectancy Decline Last Year Since WWII
(Oxford) -- Researchers say men saw the biggest decline in life expectancy last year since World War Two. That's according to a new study published in the International Journal of Epidemiology. It says a man's life expectancy dropped by just over two years as the pandemic gripped the world. Hispanic and Black men were hit even harder as their life expectancy fell by three-point-seven years and two-point-nine years, respectively. The decline in the U.S. was driven by those under 60 who were working.
