State Legislature Considering Voting Legislation

(State College, PA) -- The state Legislature is considering new voting legislation. State representative Scott Conklin proposed the legislation on Monday, saying following the 2020 Election, county election officials asked the state for help. He added that this bill would streamline processes, allow for pre-canvassing of ballots to begin 21-days before election Day, and fund necessary equipment purchases. Conklin says he hopes that his colleagues on both sides of the aisle in Harrisburg will agree and join him in making these necessary updates to the state's election laws.
