State Nursing Schools Seeing More Applications

>>State Nursing Schools Seeing More Applications

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Pennsylvania nursing schools are seeing a rise in applications. Officials with the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences say since the start of the pandemic, they have been seeing a strong interest in all of their health care programs, especially nursing. They added that people want to be involved in the cause against the pandemic and help overcome the nursing shortage. However, the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association says the rise in more applicants isn't as big as it was three or four years ago. The group hopes that legislators and folks that can provide scholarships can help get more people into the nursing profession.
