>>New Jersey Company Issues Recall For Over 120-Thousand Pounds Of Ground Beef

(Allentown, PA) --  Pennsylvania shoppers are being asked to check recent ground beef purchases following a recall notice for E.coli. New Jersey-based Lakeside Refrigerated Services confirmed yesterday that over 120-thousand pounds of raw ground beef items produced from February 1st to April 8th could be contaminated with the bacteria. The possibly tainted products were sold with the EST-46841 number in the USDA mark under the brands Marketside Butcher, and Thomas Farms sold at Walmart stores nationwide. No illnesses have been reported, and customers are asked to throw their product away or return it to the point of purchase.
