>>One-Year Countdown Until Real ID Takes Effect in Pennsylvania

(Harrisburg, PA) -- One year from tomorrow, Pennsylvanians -- and all US residents, for that matter -- must have what's called a Real ID in order to travel within the United States. As with so may other programs and regulations, enforcement has been delayed two years because of the pandemic. Under the Real ID program, people must have a Real ID card in order to enter a federal building or board a flight. The Real ID cards are available at the local department of motor vehicle or transportation department office.
