Governor Says State Money Promise Helped U.S. Boiler Stay in Lancaster
(Lancaster, PA) -- Governor Josh Shapiro says the state will invest more than three-million-dollars in U.S. Boiler to help keep the company in Lancaster. The home heating products company had previously announced a five-and-a-half million dollar expansion project, which officials say will create about a dozen new positions and preserve nearly 120 existing jobs. Company leaders say state incentives helped them opt to stay in Pennsylvania rather than choosing North Carolina for their expansion.
