(Reading, PA) -- Reading Mayor Eddie Moran and managing director Abe Amoros are calling on residents to help them cut back on violent crimes following a rash of shootings in the past week. Two victims of shootings are in critical condition, including a 45-year-old woman shot in front of her home Tuesday night. Moran urged people who have neighborhood associations that have been inactive to start them up again. Amoros also urged people to not share photos or video of crime scenes to avoid retaliation.
