>>U.S. Rep. Fred Keller Opts Out Of Re-Election To Make Room For Fellow GOP Rep. Dan Meuser

(Harrisburg, PA) --  Republican U.S. Rep. Fred Keller has announced he won't run for re-election this fall. Keller, who has served in the House since 2019, says he doesn't want to challenge fellow GOP Rep. Dan Meuser for the seat. Keller's Congressional district near Harrisburg was affected by redistricting. He said in a statement that - quote - "with control of Congress and the direction of our nation at stake, this election is bigger than any one person." The announcement makes Keller the 14th Republican to say they won't seek another U.S. House term.
