(Lancaster, PA) -- An annual report from the federal government says the value of farm and pasture land in Pennsylvania is increasing. The report by USDA Economics, Statistics and Market Information System says farmland values have climbed almost 500-dollars per acre. The average value increased to seven-thousand three-hundred-and-fifty-dollars per acre this year. The value of pasture land has also jumped about ten-and-a-half percent.
