(Reading, PA) -- Reading police are continuing to investigate a violent double shooting. Authorities responding to reports of a shooting Saturday afternoon at a home on Park Avenue found a 55-year-old woman wounded at the scene. As first responders tended to her, authorities say that officers were taking the suspected shooter, her boyfriend, into custody at the home. It was at that time, they add, that the man grabbed the weapon used in the initial shooting and shot himself. The man and the woman were last reported hospitalized in critical condition.
