(Reading, PA) -- An investigation is underway in Reading after a police officer shot a person outside a Wawa store. It happened in the 400 block of Lancaster Avenue just before 5 p.m. Wednesday. The officer is said to have fired his gun into a car in which two people were sitting - one of them was injured and taken to the hospital. District Attorney John Adams says his office is aware what prompted the officer to fire and that they'll release more information about it soon.
