(Lancaster Co., PA) -- Republicans Mehmet Oz and Doug Mastriano beat their Democratic opponents in Lancaster County voting Tuesday night. However, the GOP's nominees for U.S. Senate and governor lost in the rest of the state. Mastriano's margin in Lancaster County was 44-hundred votes over Democrat Josh Shapiro. Oz won 56 percent of the vote over opponent Democrat John Fetterman. Election officials say only two Democrats running in statewide races have won Lancaster County since the Civil War.
