Police Looking for Three Men Wanted for Walmart Robbery
(Reading, PA) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding more information about three men wanted for a scam staged at a Berks County Walmart store. They can be seen in surveillance footage earlier this month instructing a sales clerk to use the "cash" function on the register. While doing so, they imitated using a payment card at the card reader to fraudulently buy gift cards, gaming consoles and a video game worth about 25-hundred dollars in total. The surveillance shots can be seen on the Crime Alert Berks County website; the group is offering up to a ten-thousand-dollar reward for information.
