Summer Parrot Daze Fundraiser Saturday Will Benefit Reading Public Library
(Reading, PA) -- Planners for the Berks County Parrothead Club's annual Summer Parrot Daze event is set for this Saturday. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Reading Public Library, specifically for science, technology, engineering and math programming. The Parrot Daze event will happen from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel Hill Golf Course in Spring Township. Promoters say the club has raised more than 800-thousand-dollars for Berks County charities over the years.
