City Spraying for Mosquitoes in Reading, Surrounding Areas, This Week
(Reading, PA) -- Reading and some towns in the surrounding area will be getting their first round of mosquito spraying this week. The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will spray Thursday, July 13th for areas west of Route 28 and north of Route 129. Also included are roads in the vicinity of Dustin Road and Berkeley, Bond and Mineral Streets. The spraying will happen between sunset and 11:30 p.m. Officials say the spray doesn't "pose a significant risk to people or their pets" because of its low toxicity. However, residents are advised to close their windows.
