(Berks County, PA) -- A Berks County man is heading to prison after being sentenced for killing his own mother. Back in 2022, Jill Murray was found dead inside her Shillington home. Shortly after, her son Jakob Murray was arrested in Philadelphia. He told police he was out buying heroin after he had killed his mom. Jakob pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including third degree murder and was sentenced to 35 to 70 years in prison.
