Services Continue At Wyomissing Synagogue After Bomb Threat

(Reading, PA) -- A Berks County Rabbi says services will continue as usual at a Wyomissing Synagogue after it received a bomb threat. Rabbi Brian Michelson tells WFMZ-TV the bomb threat was not credible. He says it came to his Reform Congregation Oheb Shalom in Wyomissing Friday afternoon through an e-mail. The message said a bomb had been planted at the Jewish center and others throughout Pennsylvania. Police from the Reading bomb squad as well as the Berks County Sheriff's canine officer K9 searched the building but found no cause for alarm. The alleged threat came at the same time that a former Hamas leader called for a "day of rage."
