Teen Dies in Early Morning Crash On Warren Street Bypass

(Reading, PA) -- The Berks County coroner has identified an 18-year-old who was killed in a one-car crash on the Warren Street Bypass. Adel Aviles was pronounced dead at the scene early Thursday morning, after his car crashed into a utility pole just west of the River Road exit. The death was ruled accidental. Reading Fire Department crews say they needed an extensive amount of time to remove the victim's body. The crash closed the westbound lanes for five hours. It was the second fatal crash on the roadway this week.
