Proposed Road Changes Would Reduce Crash Risks On Hampden Boulevard

(Reading, PA) -- Reading residents will have a chance to view plans and ask questions this week on proposed road changes to Hampden Boulevard. The public meeting April 9th is hosted by the city and PennDOT. Hampden Boulevard is a major roadway in northeast Reading that's owned by the state. Officials want to make improvements to cut down on speed, change line of sight for drivers and prevent crashes. The public meeting Tuesday will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the McMillan Student Center at Albright College.
