Baseball Season Gets Underway in Reading
(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Fightin Phils' season is off to a fine start. Their home opener at FirstEnergy Stadium Tuesday pitted the home team against the Portland Sea Dogs. The Phils edged out Portland with a nine to eight win with Carson Taylor getting two home runs and four RBIs for Reading. Jose Rodriquez also slammed in a homer. Taylor was just assigned to Reading two weeks ago from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
