>Dog Shot, 2 People Injured After Attack
(Reading, PA) -- A dog has been shot and two people have been injured after an attack in Reading. Savannah Baller, a humane police officer with the Animal Rescue League of Berks County says it happened Wednesday evening in the area of North 6th and Washington streets when witnesses say a pit bull who was being walked attacked two people. Police arrived on the scene shortly after it was called in to shoot and kill the animal. Baller says tests will likely be performed on dog to see if it had any diseases.
