Officials Confirm Small Mild Earthquake In Spring Township
(Reading, PA) -- The United States Geological Survey confirmed it was a small earthquake that was felt in Spring Township over the weekend. The two-point-four magnitude quake was recorded in the Lincoln Park section of Spring Township Friday afternoon. There have been no reports of injuries or excessive damage. The last time an earthquake greater than two-point-oh hit Berks County was in November of 2021 in the Sinking Spring area.
