Animal Rescue League Extends Code Red
(Cumru Township, PA) -- The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is extending its Code Red alert with the heat wave expected to continue through this weekend. During Code Red hours, dogs in Reading must be kept inside with exceptions for going to the bathroom and exercise. A dog could be taken to a shelter if the alert is violated. The Code Red hours are from 1-7 today, 1-6 tomorrow, and noon-to-4 on Sunday.
