Recent Shooting Impacts City Park Activities
(Reading, PA) -- After a shooting at a Reading park last week, some residents are cancelling plans out of fears of more violence. Mike Schorn of Reading Blacktop Basketball says two teams are planning to forfeit their playoff games at City Park following the shooting last Wednesday. Schorn added that there has never been a problem of his magnitude in the 30 years he has been involved in the league. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
