Storms Cause Damage In Berks County

Severe weather swept through Berks County, Pennsylvania, over the weekend, causing significant damage and power outages. The storms resulted in downed trees and wires in parts of Fleetwood, according to WFMZ-TV. Over a thousand residents were left without power due to the storm. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

The storm's aftermath was captured in a series of photos and videos shared by WFMZ-TV, showing the extent of the damage. Images showed fallen trees, destroyed sheds, and blocked roads.

Residents are now bracing for potential flooding, with a flood watch in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service warns that excessive rainfall could lead to flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may also occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
