Berks County Woman Named Chair Of Meals On Wheels

(Berks County, PA) -- A Berks County woman is being named the chairman of the board for Meals on Wheels America. The organization announced yesterday that LuAnn Oatman will lead the board. Oatman is the president and CEO of Berks Encore, which delivers meals to the elderly and offers health and wellness programs along with grocery shopping assistance and Medicare enrollment support. Oatman said she is honored to be elected the Chair of the board for an organization that "plays a vital role in ensuring vulnerable seniors receive not only nutritious meals, but also human connection."
