DNA Testing Leads To Arrest For Smashing Police Cars
(Mount Penn, PA) -- Thanks to DNA testing, a suspect wanted for smashing police cars in Mount Penn is in custody. Brayan Thormes was recently arrested for allegedly hitting patrol vehicles in the police headquarters parking lot with a metal baseball bat on January 29th. Officers were able to recover the bat on the roof of a garage, then reportedly saved a discarded cigarette Thormes used when they were investigating a fire at his home a month later and found a match. Thormes faces charges including criminal mischief and institutional vandalism.
