Three Including Officer Injured Following Crashes
(Cumru Township, PA) -- Three people including a police officer were injured over the weekend after two crashes in Berks County. Officials say the first wreck happened Saturday afternoon when a vehicle hit a guardrail on an off-ramp in Cumru Township, then a pickup truck slammed into a police vehicle that responded to the crash. Both drivers were taken to the hospital, while the officer was treated at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
