State Commission Awards Millions In Grants To Berks County
(Reading, PA) -- Six Berks County organizations are getting funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The commission says the organizations will receive a total of more than two-million-dollars in grants for criminal justice and crime prevention. Among the entities receiving the money are SAFE Berks and MidPenn Legal Services. State Senator Judy Schwank said the grants acknowledge the "tremendous services" these organizations are delivering for the people of Berks County.
