(Berks County, PA) -- The trial of a Berks County woman accused of killing her children is set to begin today. Lisa Snyder is charged with third-degree murder for the deaths of two of her children in 2019. Authorities said Snyder tried to claim the incident was a murder-suicide after the eight-year-old and four-year-old were found hanging in the basement of their home in Albany Township. Snyder is facing a bench trial, meaning the case will be decided by the judge instead of a jury.
