>Berks County Lawmakers Participate In Hearing On Trump Shooting
(Washington, DC) -- Two Berks County lawmakers took part in the first public hearing yesterday on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania. Democrats Chrissy Houlahan and Madeline Dean are members of the bipartisan House task force investigating the shooting at Trump's rally in Butler County in July. Houlahan said the investigation should be focused on preventing future potential threats instead of trying to solve the most recent problem. Earlier this week, a Senate bipartisan committee released a report that showed the failures of the Secret Service on the day of the rally.
