>Man Charged With Selling MDMA Pills

Dennis Valentin, a 34-year-old man from Reading, Pennsylvania, was arrested on September 26 following a month-long investigation into a drug trafficking operation. The Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force identified Valentin as a key distributor of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy.

The investigation, which began in August 2024, involved numerous undercover drug purchases and surveillance of Valentin. On the day of his arrest, detectives executed a search warrant at Valentin's apartment in the 900 block of North 3rd Street. Valentin was present during the search and was taken into custody without incident.

Inside the apartment, detectives seized approximately 1,200 MDMA pills, 140 grams of suspected marijuana, a digital scale, a cellular phone, and $1,204 in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug sales. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be around $12,000.

Valentin has been charged with multiple offenses, including possession with the intent to deliver MDMA, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently awaiting a preliminary arraignment at the Berks County Sheriff’s Department Central Processing Center.

The Berks County District Attorney’s office continues to investigate the broader drug trafficking operation and has not ruled out the possibility of additional arrests. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Berks Weekly reported.
