Three Injured In Shooting

A series of shootings in Reading, Pennsylvania, over the weekend has left three people injured. The incidents occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the victims sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.

The first shooting took place just before 3 a.m. on the 100 block of N. 9th Street. Officers responding to the scene found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs. The victim was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment. According to the Tioga Publishing report, the shooting occurred during a fight outside the El Primo Bar & Grill. The suspect is described as a light-skinned Puerto Rican male who speaks Spanish.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police were called to the 600 block of Thorn Street for a reported fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers encountered a large group of people fleeing the scene and an adult male with a gunshot wound to the wrist. The man was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment. Later, two additional men arrived at Reading Hospital and St Joseph’s Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that all three victims were inside a residence when an unknown person fired multiple shots into the rear of the structure, striking all three victims, as reported by Reading Eagle.
