Two Reading Men Given Life Sentences For Involvement In Drug Trafficking Organization

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Two men from Reading will spend the rest of their lives in prison for their roles in a drug-trafficking organization. Authorities said 30-year-old Dewayne Quinones and 27-year-old Mayco Alvarez-Jackson were involved in murders, kidnappings, and drug distribution while members of the Trinidad DTO. That includes a quadruple homicide in Reading in January 2018. Berks County District Attorney John Adams said the sentences should send a message that violence and drug-trafficking will not be tolerated.
