One Injured In Reading Shooting

A man was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning (March 16) in Reading, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred near South Tenth Street and Franklin, and the victim was shot in the arm. He was transported to the hospital, but his current condition remains unknown. According to WFMZ, the shooting was reported at 2:20 a.m. Berks County Communications officials confirmed the incident, and an investigation is underway.

While there is no direct link between the shooting and gang activity, Reading has seen its share of gang-related crimes. The FBI has been actively investigating violent crimes and gang activities across the country, including in Pennsylvania.
