DA: Wanted Reading Man Found Trying To Smuggle 67 Pounds Of Weed
(Berks County, PA) -- Berks County officials say a wanted Reading man was found at an airport earlier this month trying to smuggle almost 70 pounds of marijuana. The District Attorney's Office said 27-year-old Ian Diaz-Reales was captured at JFK Airport in New York City while attempting to smuggle 67 pounds of weed on an outbound flight. Diaz-Reales is accused of buying firearms for other people that used them for illegal purposes. He is being held in Berks County custody on 100-thousand-dollars bail.
