Police: Vehicle Involved In Berks Crash Was Wanted For Traffic Stop
(Exeter Township, PA) -- Authorities say a vehicle involved in a large crash in Berks County Tuesday night was in a police chase right before. The District Attorney's Office said the vehicle refused to pull over for a traffic stop in Exeter Township, leading to a pursuit that was called off because the suspect was going "dangerously fast" and turned their lights off. The multi-vehicle wreck happened a short time later on Route 422, sending eight people to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
