The owner of Kim's Massage in Exeter Township, Pennsylvania, Lian Xiufang, has been arrested on charges of promoting prostitution. The Berks County District Attorney's Office reported that an investigation revealed employees were paid for sex acts at the massage parlor. Xiufang, who has owned the business since January 2025, was arrested earlier this week. Her bail is set at $500,000.
According to WFMZ, the investigation began in February after authorities found online ads offering illegal sex acts linked to Kim's Massage. Two confidential sources confirmed that sex acts were being exchanged for money. Police executed a search warrant on Tuesday (May 6), seizing items related to prostitution. Two women were found living on the premises, neither licensed by the state to perform massage therapy.
The News-Journal reported that Xiufang is charged with four felony counts of promoting prostitution, among other offenses. Authorities are also investigating another massage parlor in Mt. Penn.
Berks County District Attorney John Adams stated, "These businesses were eyesores in our community, not because of what they looked like from the outside, but because of what we believe was happening behind closed doors." Xiufang is awaiting her preliminary hearing.
