Fatal Crash in Berks County Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

A tragic accident in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday (May 14) resulted in one fatality and left two others injured. According to state police, the crash occurred around 6 p.m. near Skyline Drive and Bingaman Road in Alsace Township. The vehicle involved was reported to have been in a single-vehicle wreck. The conditions of the two individuals who were hospitalized remain unknown.

The accident is currently under investigation by authorities to determine the cause and circumstances leading to the crash. The incident has raised concerns about road safety in the area.

A dense fog advisory was in effect for parts of Pennsylvania, including Berks County, at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to hazardous driving conditions. The advisory warned of visibility being reduced to a quarter mile or less in some areas, advising drivers to slow down and use headlights. The advisory was set to remain in place until 11 a.m. on Friday (May 16).
