>>COVID-19 Cases Spike In Berks County

(Berks County, PA) -- COVID-19 cases are spiking in Berks County. Reading Hospital infectious disease specialist Dr. Debra Powell says the number of cases now mirrors what was seen in May. Powell says hospitalizations are also up. There were two new COVID-19-related deaths in Berks County reported yesterday for a local toll of 432.

(Reading, PA) -- A group in Reading wants every vote from the general election counted. Several dozen voters gathered Wednesday night at the corner of Fifth and Penn streets, holding signs demanding a complete vote count. The Trump campaign has filed a lawsuit to temporarily stop mail-in ballot counting across the state.

>>Lancaster County High Schools Move To Remote Learning

(Lancaster, PA) -- High schools in Lancaster County are moving to online learning. The decision to move to remote learning was made yesterday and will continue today. District officials say there are five COVID-19 cases at Warwick High School and seven at Conestoga Valley High School. Sports and extra-curricular activities will continue as scheduled at both schools.

>>Reading City Hall To Reopen Monday

(Reading, PA) -- Reading City Hall is set to reopen Monday. Mayor Eddie Moran announced yesterday that a CDC-certified cleaning company had finished disinfecting and sanitizing the building. The mayor revealed Tuesday that three employees had tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the building's closure for the week.

>>Motorcyclist Killed In Exeter Township Crash

(Exeter Township, PA) -- A motorcyclist is dead after an Exeter Township crash. The crash happened Wednesday morning on East Neversink Road. Police say 47-year-old Jody Stubblebine collided with an oncoming vehicle that tried to turn left in front of him. Stubblebine was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 31-year-old man driving the other vehicle wasn't injured. An investigation is ongoing.
