>>Cumru Township Hookah Lounge Shooting Kills One Man

(Cumru Township, PA) -- Police in Berks County are investigating a shooting at a hookah lounge in Cumru Township that killed one person and injured three others.

 The shooting happened Friday morning at the Diamonds Lounge in the 300-block of East Wyomissing Avenue. Authorities say the suspect began opening fire inside the lounge after an altercation happened in the parking lot. Four people were taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. One of the victims was a 33-year-old man who later died due to his injuries. Anyone with any information on the shooting is being asked to contact Crime Alert Berks County.

(Reading, PA) -- A 14-year-old boy is being accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old girl in Reading. The shooting happened Friday night in the one-thousand-block of Scott Street. Police say the boy began firing shots at two teenage girls after getting into a fight with them. The 16-year-old victim was taken to Tower Health for a gunshot wound to her chest, but later died due to her injuries. A 17-year-old victim was also transported to the hospital for a gunshot wound to her leg. Officials say the boy will be tried as an adult, and he is facing several charges including homicide.

(Reading, PA) -- The 30th annual Berks Jazz Fest is going to take place a little later this year. Organizers announced Friday that the festival is being delayed until August due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was originally scheduled for March of last year before getting rescheduled for April of this year. Organizers say that some scheduled artists will not be able to perform due to the postponement, but new concerts are being planned to take their place.

>>One Child Injured In Lancaster Apartment Fire

(Lancaster, PA) -- A child is being treated at the hospital after an apartment caught on fire in Lancaster. The fire happened yesterday morning at an apartment building in the one-hundred-block of North Charlotte Street. Police say one child was taken to the hospital, and five people were displaced by the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

>>Lancaster Woman Charged For Child Endangerment

(Lancaster, PA) -- A 20-year-old Lancaster woman is being charged with child endangerment after she allegedly left a four-year-old child unattended. Ariana Elizabeth Ford was taken into custody this past Friday and is now facing several child endangerment charges. Police say they found the four-year-old child outside crying in 20-degree weather on Atkins Avenue last week. After a brief investigation, police discovered that Ford had left the child unattended to go to a party.                                      

>>Man Arrested After Holding Police At Bay With Kids Inside A Home   

(Carbon County, PA) -- A Carbon County man is facing several charges after a standoff in Lansford Sunday morning. Police were called to the West Abbott Street home just before 11 a.m. about a man inside with a weapon and children. After police arrived, the man exited the home with a child in his arms but eventually gave himself up. No one was injured during the incident.
