(Kutztown, PA) -- Kutztown University is holding a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students, employees, community members and children over the age of 12 this week. The clinic will be held this Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the university's Student Recreation Center. Doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered free of charge, and no registration is being required to attend to clinic.

(Kutztown, PA) -- Three boroughs in Berks County are going to be getting some help from PennDOT to improve traffic safety. State Senator Judy Schwank announced yesterday that Kutztown, Shillington and Wyomissing boroughs will be getting Green Light-Go grant funding that totals about 780-thousand-dollars all together. Officials say the funding will be used to replace outdated controllers, upgrade L-E-D lenses and enhance operational equipment.

>>Indiana Woman Accused Of Leaving Dead Infant Girl Behind Dumpster In Lancaster In 2007
(Lancaster, PA) -- A woman from Indiana is being accused of leaving a dead infant girl inside a dumpster in Lancaster in 2007. Tara Brazzle is being charged with homicide in the death of 'Baby Mary Anne' who was found in a dumpster behind the former Y-M-C-A located in the 500-block of North Queen Street. Police say Brazzle was then known as Tara Indrakosit, and she worked at the Y-M-C-A in 2007. The investigation into the case is still ongoing.

>>Berks County Courthouse Entrance To Temporarily Close On Monday
(Reading, PA) -- The entrance of the Berks County Courthouse is going to be temporarily closed on Monday, July 12th. The county's Facilities-and-Operations Department announced yesterday that the entrance will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to noon to allow for the installation of a new X-ray machine. Officials say that all employees and visitors who need to access departments inside the courthouse during that time will have to enter through the Berks County Services Center.
>>Fireworks Blamed For Causing House Fire In Lancaster County
(East Cocalico Township, PA) -- Authorities are determining that fireworks caused a house fire that displaced six people in Lancaster County earlier this week. The blaze broke out Monday night in the first-block of South Muddy Creek Road in East Cocalico Township. Officials with the Reamstown Fire Company say improperly discarded fireworks set fire to a garage before the flames spread to the house.
