(Heidelberg Township, PA) -- A 40-year-old Berks County man has died in a crash between two motorcycles Saturday in Heidelberg Township. Police say Jonathan Rosado was pronounced dead at the scene when the two collided near North Church Street and Manbeck Road. The other man, a 43-year-old from West Lawn, is hospitalized with a head injury, and his condition has not been released.

>>Fire Damages Lancaster County Duplex

(Ephrata, PA) -- A duplex in Lancaster County has been damaged by a Sunday afternoon fire. Firefighters spent several hours at the home in the 100-block of East Locust Street in Ephrata. No one was home when the fire started, and it appears to have begun in the attic. Three people and at least one pet lived in the duplex.

(Reading, PA) -- Several people have been shot in Reading during an attempted robbery of a man's gun. According to police, 21-year-old Damien Cirilo tried to take a gun from a 27-year-old man. The victim got away from Cirilo, and 44-year-old Julio Cirilo and 19-year-old Moises Quintanilla shot at him, causing him to return fire. Julio Cirilo and a 25-year-old woman who had been being strangled by Damien Cirilo were both shot.

>>Reading Woman Charged With Statutory Sexual Assault

(Reading, PA) -- A 29-year-old Reading woman is charged with statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, and endangering the welfare of children for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old Bible study group member. The boy says he and Doris Cintron started dating six or seven months ago, and the abuse happened when he was at her house to study the Bible and talk about God. Police said their investigation discovered her Bible study wasn't part of any church or other organization. She is free on bail.

>>Berks County Has 58 New COVID-19 Cases For Week

(Reading, PA) -- Berks County had 58 new COVID-19 cases last week with a positive test rate of five-point-one-percent. Statewide, cases were up by just over 28-hundred, which was more than the last three weeks combined. The surge is mainly among people who have not been vaccinated according to state officials.
