(Reading, PA) -- Plenty of rain is in the forecast from the remnants of what was Hurricane Ida. Meteorologists also expect flash flooding to be a major concern in the Lehigh Valley. Some areas could receive six to eight inches of rain between 2 p.m. today and 2 a.m. Thursday, and most of the region will get between three and six inches.

(Reading, PA) -- Reading Police have arrested several people after two were shot Tuesday night. Officers responded to South 10th Street near Cherry Street a little after 8 p.m. They have not released the conditions of the shooting victims.

>>Several Injured In House Fire

(Reading, PA) -- A house fire in Reading has injured multiple people. Firefighters went to the home in the 200-block of North 10th Street around 3 p.m. for the second-floor fire in a row home. At least one victim has been hospitalized, and two others were being treated at the scene by EMS crews. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.

>>Funeral Arrangements For Former Reading Mayor Announced

(Reading, PA) -- Former Reading Mayor Joseph Kuzminski will be laid to rest Friday. His funeral procession after a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church will take him past the home where he was born in 1926. It will also go by City Hall, as Kuzminski was in office for two decades on the council from 1960 to 1976 and as mayor from 1976 to 1980. He died at 94 last Thursday.

>>Masks Mandated In All K-12 Schools And Day Cares

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Tom Wolf is ordering all students, staff, and visitors to be masked inside all K-12 schools and day cares. Wolf's mandate is for public and private schools. It is due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases and more young people being infected. Children under 12-years old are still not eligible for a vaccine.
