(Reading, PA) -- Students, staff, and visitors to all schools in Pennsylvania must be wearing a mask inside today. Governor Wolf's mask mandate takes effect, though a hearing is set for September 16 on a lawsuit filed by the state Senate Republican leader and a group of parents. They argue the mandate isn't valid because it wasn't put through a regulatory review process. The governor's office says the Republicans are "undermining public health."

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Police in Manheim Township say Ryan Bunting of Lancaster threatened to blow up a Lancaster County district court. Bunting has been charged with terroristic threats and harassment. He has been released on bail and police say he called the court over a dozen times and harassed employees about a pending case.

(Reading, PA) -- Artwork honoring essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic is up outside the Reading Public Museum. The exhibit has 200 ten-inch-square tiles with a hand impression of an essential worker. Bruce Becker created the piece, which honors police, doctors, nurses, food service workers, utility crews, and more.

(Union Township, PA) -- Apple picking is underway in Berks County. People headed to Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site in Union Township for the fruit over Labor Day. Park ranger Bill Lange says the weather this year was much better than the past several and the season will be very good. The park has 30 varieties of apples.

(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Fightin Phils games today and tomorrow are postponed due to COVID-19 issues with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. New Hampshire also had a doubleheader postponed on Sunday due to testing and contact tracing for the virus. They add on Twitter that fans, game day staff, and the team's front office were not exposed. The Fightin Phils have not said when the games will be made up.
