(Reading, PA) -- The new Reading Education Foundation will hold a party to celebrate Reading Superintendent Khalid Mumin before he leaves for a Montgomery County job. The foundation's launch party will be September 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. The defending state champion Reading High School boys basketball team will be the special guests. Tickets are 25-dollars per person, and proceeds will be used for the REF's goal of a ten-million-dollar endowment for academic innovation.
