(Lancaster County, PA) -- Several passengers are injured after a bus crashed while carrying high school students and volunteers home from a church retreat. The LCBC bus was one of three headed back last night from a retreat on the church's Manheim campus. Senior Pastor David Ashcraft said in a letter that the injured were taken to the hospital, but he didn't specify the number of injured, whether the victims were students or volunteers, or how severely any of the victims were hurt. Authorities are investigating.

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Area law enforcement and educators are speaking about the enforcement of Pennsylvania's school mask mandate in Lancaster County. Enforcement of the law is being left to school boards and principals after the county's top prosecutor has said she will not go after offenders. Police say they will focus on educating the public and urge masking. Administrators say they intend to remove repeat offenders from the classroom.

(Berks County, PA) -- Two area ambulance services say some patients are not paying for EMS service. Western Berks Ambulance Service says about 180 patients this year have kept their insurance reimbursement checks rather than passing the money to the provider. The service says that adds up to more that 200-thousand a month. Reading EMTs say they are seeing the same trend. Both services say the effects of COVID on the economy are leading people to preserve their funds.

>>Guns In Vehicle Leads To Lockdown At Wyomissing Elementary

(Wyomissing, PA) -- Police are involved after an employee of an agency that provides services to the Wyomissing Area School District was reported to have a pair of guns on school property. School officials at Wyomissing Hills Elementary briefly locked down the school Friday and reported to the police that the employee had the weapons in his vehicle. The employee admitted to the allegation before police searched the vehicle and found the firearms. The employee was arrested on charges of possession of a weapon on school property and carrying a firearm without a license.

>>Berks County Seeing Increase In Overdoses

(Bern Township, PA) -- Berks County officials say they are seeing an increase in overdoses. Officials say many were the result of a potent blend of drugs not typically seen on the streets. The Council on Chemical Abuse led a recovery walk Saturday on the campus of Reading Area Community College. Following the walk, Camp Joy hosted a free event with food, music, and speakers.
